Recorded live by Park Recordings at Stockport Town Hall on 7th July 2000 to mark the retirement of the Musical Director, Derrick Margerson, after 20 years with the Orchestra.
"Bought the latest CD, what a delight. The Town Hall accoustics are not that good but ahh - the playing. Lovely violin melody on the Offenbach. Ma Vlata is one of those pieces I seem to collect. This is one I will treasure, with a different interpretation which is fresh and enjoyable." Stephen Shaw
